UGBS Holds an Orientation Session For EMBA Students

The University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) on Tuesday, 3rd September 2019, held an orientation session for the Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) class of 2021. The session was facilitated by Mrs. Majorie Beeko and chaired by Dr. Dan Quaye, the Chairman for the EMBA Management Committee.

Dr. Quaye, who is also a Senior Lecturer with the Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship of UGBS, expressed his pleasure while welcoming the students to the EMBA programme on the behalf of the Dean, Prof. Justice Bawole. He stated that the School aims to equip them with the requisite knowledge to enable them to be leaders in their workplace, the nation, and the world at large. He added that the quality of education provided by the School is unparalleled in Ghana and in West Africa.

Dr. Quaye took the students through the rules and regulations governing the Graduate School and highlighted on dealing with academic issues such as registration. He implored the students to engage with faculty when they have issues to enable them have an enjoyable period of study.

The event ended with a Question and Answer session where students’ concerns were satisfactorily addressed.
