UGBS Holds Orientation for EMBA Students

The University of Ghana Business School held an orientation session for its February 2018 Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) programme students on Wednesday, 14th February, 2018 at the school's Graduate Building.

The event was facilitated by Mrs. Majorie Beeko, the acting manager of the EMBA programme who welcomed the students. Addressing the students, she expressed her profound gratitude to them for their interest in studying at the University of Ghana Business School.

Mrs. Stella Dovlo, the School Administrator briefed the students on the programmes offered by the school as well as the facilities available for students to take advantage of. She also gave an overview of the rules and regulations governing the school which students are expected to adhere to. She further outlined the international study tours available to students offering the EMBA programme to equip them with requisite skills to shape them to become global leaders.

Dr. Daniel M. Quaye, Chairman of the EMBA Management Committee, highlighted the regulations that govern Graduate Studies at the University of Ghana Business School and entreated the students to visit the university's website to acquaint themselves with all the information they need to know as students of UGBS. He also spelt out the nitty-gritties regarding registration, course work, examination and graduation. He stated that the school is going through a series of processes to sit at the top with the Ivy League Schools of the world, and this will be achieved through a concerted effort. In his closing remarks, he encouraged the students to work hard and engage with faculty when faced with challenges to enable them have a memorable and wonderful experience during their period of study.

The event ended with a Question and Answer session where the concerns of the students were addressed.
