UGBS Holds Opening Ceremony for Executive Master Development Policies and Practices 2018/19

The Enterprise Development Services Unit of the University of Ghana Business School in collaboration with the Graduate Institute – Geneva, held an opening ceremony on Monday 6th August, 2018, for students participating in the Seventh International Executive Master in Development Policies and Practices Programme.

The event, which unfolded at the Yiri Lodge, was greeted with much ecstasy by alumni, students, faculty and staff in attendance. Speaking on behalf of the Dean, Prof. Kwesi Amponsah-Tawiah, a coordinator in charge of the UGBS Executive Development Unit expressed how glad he was to welcome all students to the programme.

He urged the students to study hard so as to yield good results. He further made known to the gathering the numerous opportunities awaiting them.

He indicated that the “Master’s Programme is designed to equip development practitioners’ analytical skills and tools for understanding and interpreting development issues”.

The students expressed commitment to their studies. The alumni also shared their experience, noting how exciting and helpful the programme has been, impacting on their field of work exponentially. They thus urged students to attach seriousness to their studies.
