UGBS Holds EMBA Information Session for Prospective Students

The University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) on Tuesday, 6th June, 2017 held an information session for potential students at the British Council. The event was held to brief the public on the Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) programme on offer at the School.

The EMBA Management Committee Chair, Dr. Dan Quaye outlined the programme and its requirements. He explained that the Executive Master of Business Administration programme offer students with knowledge that transcend the typical classroom setting, noting that the programme equips executive students with practical management and strategic knowledge that gives them better understanding of core managerial concepts to enable them create consistent and innovative strategies necessary to achieve success.

Also speaking on the EMBA Programme, Dr. Justice Nyigmah Bawole, the Head, Department of Public Administration and Health Services Management added that the EMBA offers excellent opportunity for students to enjoy high standard business education while still working. He mentioned that the programme provides students with travel opportunities and enhances their experience through global traveling, interaction with experienced lecturers and international students in the form of conferences, seminars and workshops.

Potential applicants had the opportunity to interact with coordinators of the various programmes for their individual concerns to be addressed. In attendance were some faculty, the School Administrator and administrative staff.
