UGBS Endowment Fund Board of Trustees Deliberate on The School’s 5 Year Strategic Budget

As part of the University of Ghana Business School’s strategy to boost efficient financial management, the Endowment Fund Board of Trustees met on Thursday 11TH May 2017 to deliberate on a five (5) year strategic budget. The meeting was held at the Conference Room of the UGBS’s Graduate Building.

The meeting was to ensure efficient financial mobilisation and management of Alumni funds, boost internally-generated funds, maximise returns on excess liquidity and ensure value for money spending from 2017 to 2021. The Endowment Fund Board of Trustees also deliberated on leveraging on alumni relations by developing and designing continuous professional development courses for the alumni, and organise activities such as “An Evening with Alumni” to further enhance the existing bond between UGBS and its Alumni.

The board of trustees present at the meeting were Mr. Kwesi A. Kersi, Technical Director Graphic Corp., Mrs. Frances Adu-Mante, Legal Consult ROFAM Consultancy, Mr. Lawrence Yirenkyi-Boafo, Director of Finance Securities & Exchange Commission, Dr E.Y Tweneboah-Koduah Head of Department, Marketing and Entrepreneurship, Mr. Daniel Assiedu, Managing Director ADB Bank, Mr. Kwasi Poku Asamoah-Ado, Head of IT Ghana-Post, Dr. John Effah, Senior Lecturer UGBS and Professor Richard Boateng who represented the Dean of UGBS. The meeting was chaired by Rev. Daniel O. Tetteh, Executive Director of Data Bank and the Board Chairman of the Endowment Fund Board of Trustees and coordinated by The Chief Administrative Assistant and Alumni Relations Coordinator Mrs. Sophia Dapaah Mantey.
