The University of Ghana Business School Enterprise Development Services (UGBS EDS), has organised an information workshop for prospective applicants of the Executive Master in Development Policies and practices programme. The workshop, held at the Executive Hall of UGBS on February 15, 2016, aims at enlightening prospective applicants on the admission processes.
The Regional Responsible (English Speaking Africa), Dr Kwesi Amponsah-Tawiah welcomed the prospective applicants to the workshop, and praised their enthusiasm to acquire information for admission into the programme. He encouraged them to be actively engaged in the workshop by asking questions to clear all doubts concerning the programme.
In his address, the Swiss Development Corporation (SDC) Representative, Mr Daniel Lauchenauer, stated that the Executive Master in Development Policies and practices programme came about as a result of several decades of Swiss/Ghanaian Corporation. He added that, the programme is designed to develop and enrich the analytical leadership skills of both private and public sector professionals to lead change and bring development to their organisations and society.
Mrs. Majorie Beeko, Regional Executive Officer (Eglish Speaking Africa), took prospective applicants through the application process, requirements and course overview. She urged prospective applicants to give accurate and true information of themselves when filling the admission forms. Mrs. Beeko in her concluding remarks, challenged applicants to influence public and private policy by taking advantage of the programmes’ thematic research on essential issues of global interest.
