UGBS Celebrates Newly-Promoted Faculty

The UGBS, on Friday, July 31, 2015, threw a soiree at the foyer of its Graduate Building for faculty who were promoted during the 2014/2015 academic year.
The honourees, numbering eleven, comprised Dr. James Baba Abugre and Prof. Bill B. Puplampu from the Department of Organisation and Human Resource Management; Dr. Ernest Yaw Tweneboah-Koduah and Prof. Robert Ebo Hinson, Department of Marketing & Entrepreneurship; and Dr. Charles Andoh and Dr. Simon Harvey, Department of Finance.

Making up the celebrants were Dr. Samuel N. Y. Simpson of the Department of Accounting and Dr. Albert Ahenkan, Dr. Gordon Abekah-Nkrumah, and Prof. K. A. Domfeh from the Department of Public Administration and Health Services Management.

Addressing the revelers, who included junior and senior administrative staff as well as a number of faculty members, the Dean of UGBS, Prof. Joshua Yindenaba Abor, said the event was an opportunity for faculty and staff to interact.

He commended the merit-based achievement of the honourees, adding that they served as encouragements for their colleagues to strive hard for same. He also expressed the hope that next academic year’s achievements would be just as commendable.
