UGBS Alumnus Josephine Anan-Ankomah Appointed as MD for Ecobank Kenya

Alumni of the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) are noted for being outstanding in their various fields. One such exceptional alumna is Mrs. Josephine Anan-Ankomah who was recently appointed as the Managing Director of Ecobank Kenya by the Council of Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI).
Mrs. Josephine Anan-Ankomah earned a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS). She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Sociology from the University of Ghana and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. With 18 of the bank's 33 affiliates and one representative office, she will oversee leading and increasing the bank's activities in Kenya and the larger Continental Education Strategy for Africa (CESA) region.
"It is an honour to serve as Ecobank Kenya's Managing Director and Group Executive for the CESA Area," Mrs. Ankomah stated in accepting her new role. She further noted her eagerness to work with the Board, Management, and other Ecobankers to help to realise Ecobank's larger goal of promoting financial and economic integration.
