The University of Ghana Business School’s Marketing and Customer Management Department (M&CM), last Friday, organized an information session on its MA Marketing Strategy Sandwich Programme on the premises of the British Council, Accra.
Dr. Ernest Tweneboah-Koduah, the Programme Coordinator, in introducing prospective students to the course, presented an outline of its duration, minimum qualification and course fee amongst others.
Commenting on the rationale behind the introduction of the Programme, Dr. Tweneboah-Koduah stated that it afforded members of the general public the opportunity to acquire a masters degree without the rigor of a full-time masters programme
The course duration, he said, will span 3 weeks in June and a weekend in December for two years, during which students will be taken through a bouquet of industry-specific courses.
Dr. Tweneboah-Koduah also outlined the application process and employment prospects, saying that the MA in Marketing Strategy Programme provides training, which equips students to perform effectively in marketing functions and roles in various industries, within and beyond Ghana.
Also present at and chairing the session was the Dean of UGBS, Prof. Joshua Yindenaba Abor, the Head of M&CM Department, Dr. Bedman Narteh, and members of faculty of the Department.
