MSSU Holds Information Sessions for Students with A Delegation from Auburn University

The Mentoring and Student Services Unit (MSSU) of the University of Ghana Business School, on 18th October, 2021, held an information session for students at the R.S. Amegashie Auditorium. The purpose of the session was to acquaint students with postgraduate opportunities available at Auburn University.
Students, executive members of the Business House Junior Common Room (BHJCR) as well as speakers (Professor Bridgett A. King and Professor Kelly Ann Krawczyk) were all in attendance at the information session. The Coordinator for the MSSU, Dr. Lily Yarney introduced and welcomed the speakers for the programme.

The first speaker, Professor Bridgett A. King, who is an Associate Professor for the Department of Political Science & Director of the Master of Public Administration (MPA) programme at Auburn University, spoke about the MPA programme available at the University. She went through the curriculum with the students, requirements for admission to the programme and finally discussed students finance assistance options.

Taking her turn, Prof. Kelly Ann Krawczyk, an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science and the Programmes Director of Auburn University's joint PhD in Public Administration and Public Policy spoke about PhD in their Public Administration programme. She focused on what the programme teaches students to accomplish, the curriculum as well as the admission requirements.

The session ended with the speakers addressing questions posed to them by students.
