Mrs. Beryl Avudzivi, an MBA Marketing Student at the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS), with the support of her course mates, made a presentation at the School Administrator’s Office on the 4th of March 2020. According to Mrs. Avudzivi, a GRASAG Women’s Commissioner Hopeful, leaders should be able to identify problems and be solutions-oriented, hence her decision to support the School by providing hand sanitizers as well as sanitary pads. The gesture is to help observe strict hand hygiene and also to help female students who have emergency situations.
The GRASAG Women’s Commissioner Hopeful, mentioned that this was just the beginning and she wanted the items to be displayed at vantage points where students could really make good use of them.
The School Administrator, Mr. Emmanuel Opoku- Sarkodee accepted the donation on behalf of the School and promised that the donated items will be put to good use. He also expressed his immense gratitude and stated that this presentation would encourage others to support the School. The Dean of UGBS, Professor Justice Bawole also made an appearance and showed his appreciation for the thoughtfulness of the students to make such an impact on the School.
UGBS is grateful to Mrs Avudzivi and her course mates for their kind gesture.
