Leading Strategically for Effective Performance

University of Ghana Business School Executive Development (UGBS-ED) organised a four day training on effective leadership from the 25th to 28th July, 2017, at the Graduate Building of the school. The objective of the programme was to provide participants with the requisite strategic leadership tool to implement policies and deliver better performance for their organisations.

The training also seeks to equip participants with performance review tools which will help them gain insight on how to manage the process of capturing feedback, challenging their own strategy and prioritising actions. This will enable them direct and mange the future of their organisations.

Participants were trained on self-management to better themselves in managing time, subordinating and encouraging the right behaviours in their various organisations. They gained insight on how to challenge and validate strategy using feedback from the performance management system for the betterment of their organisations. Participants of the training included Directors, HR Managers, Senior Executives and Line Managers.
Mr. Mario Nartey, Programme Administrator UGBS-ED, thanked the participants for partaking in the training and expressed the school’s pleasure in serving them. They were then awarded with certificates of attendance. Dr. Kwesi Amponsah-Tawiah, Dr. Kwesi Dartey-Baah, Dr. Ibrahim Bedi and Dr. Gordon Abekah-Nkrumah are among some experienced faculty from the UGBS who facilitated the course.
