On Thursday 13th June 2019, students from Yale School of Management and Haas School of Business participating in the Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM) week together with students of the Executive Masters of Administration programme visited the Central region of Ghana.
The tour provided the students with an exciting opportunity to experience tourists’ sites in the Central Region. Again, it served as a break from the stressful lecture room routine and also enabled the students to network among themselves. Among the places they visited include the Elmina Castle, Coconut Groove Beach Resort and the Kakum National Park.
At the Elmina Castle, the students were taken around the place by a tour guide, who gave them time to explore the historical and cultural sites surrounding the Castle. They later headed to Coconut Groove Beach Resort to relax and refresh themselves.
The GNAM participants further moved to the Kakum National Park which is a unique feature in the entire African continent and one of the most beautiful sites in Ghana. They were marveled by the beautiful scene showcasing the long series of hanging bridges known as the Kakum canopy walkway.
The tour ended with socialisation and networking among themselves.
