Dr. Albert Ahenkan, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Public Administration and Health Services Management, University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) attends Final CARIBU Consortium Meeting from 3rd to 6th April, 2017 held at the Markerere University, Kampala, Uganda.
CARIBU is an Erasmus Mundus Action 2 (EMA2) partnership programme that aims at increasing academic mobility, research and capacity building opportunities between 8 EU universities (Belgium (2), Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Poland, Portugal, Romania) and Africa, Caribbean and Pacific Universities (Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Uganda, Mozambique, Gambia, Ghana, the Bahamas, Suriname, Timor-Leste, Samoa).
A total of 14 students from the University of Ghana have benefited from the programme for the last three years in the form of PhD and Masters Scholarships. The meeting seeks to evaluate the sustainability of the programme and to develop further cooperation in the framework of the EU funded Projects.
Dr. Ahenkan attended the meeting in his capacity as the Coordinator of the Caribu Programme, University of Ghana Business School. He expressed appreciation to UGBS and Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) for supporting him to attend the meeting.
