The Department of Organisation and Human Resource Management (OHRM) organised an oral presentation examination for its final year MPhil students (2016/2017 academic year) on the 4th and 5th July, 2017 at the Executive Hall. Present were some faculty, supervisors, a number of PhD and MPhil students, as well as some administrative staff.
Twenty-one students presented their theses on varied OHRM related topics. Topics presented include: “Pension reforms and retirement income security for Ghanaian workers: An adequate provision for inclusion of the formal sector”; “Safety climate and employees’ voluntary work behaviours: The moderating role of employee voice”; “Leadership styles and individual work performance (IWP): The mediating role of organisational justice”, among others.
Students identified the various research gaps and outlined the research objectives underpinning their studies as well as contributions to human resource management literature and practice.
