The Department of Marketing & Entrepreneurship organised an oral presentation examination for its final year MPhil students on 24th and 26th May, 2017 at the Graduate Building. Present were some faculty members, supervisors, a number of PhD and MPhil students as well as some administrative staff.
Twenty students presented their thesis on varied marketing-related topics. Topics presented include: “The Effect of Brand Engagement and Price on Brand Love”, “Understanding Brand Journalism and its Role in Marketing Communication”, “Service Innovation and Customer Satisfaction: The Mediating Role of Customer Perceived Value”, “Examining Social Entrepreneurship in Ghana: Insights from Social Enterprise Ghana”, among others.
Students identified the various research gaps and outlined the research objectives underpinning their studies, as well as the contributions to theory and practice.
Standing in for the Head of the Department of Marketing & Entrepreneurship, Dr. Daniel Quaye advised the students to exhibit confidence and mannerism, and above all, use proper language in presentations.
