Clinical Leadership and Governance Class of the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) had the honour of hosting Mr. Herbert Mensah, a Ghanaian businessman, Sports Administrator, Philanthropist and the President of the Ghana Rugby Association (GRA) in a virtual workshop dubbed, “Time with a Business Leader.” The two-part seminar series was held during the MSc Clinical Leadership and Governance class on July 21st and 25th, 2020 respectively. PAHSM Holds COBUSS Series To Discuss Achieving UHC By 2030

The Department of Public Administration and Health Services Management (PAHSM) held its second Covid, Business and Society Seminar (COBUSS) Series on the 2nd of July 2020 via Zoom. Invited speakers were Dr. Gordon Abekah-Nkrumah, a Senior Lecturer with the Department of PAHSM, and Dr. Anthony Nsiah-Asare, the Presidential Advisor on Health at the Jubilee House.  The Dean of UGBS, Professor Justice Bawole, welcomed everyone and gave a brief background to the institution of the COBUSS series.

PAHSM Hosts Online Seminar

Dr. Gordon Abekah-Nkrumah, a University of Ghana Business School Senior Lecturer and Health Economist with the Department of Public Administration and Health Services Management has indicated that the coronavirus outbreak in China will adversely affect certain sectors of Ghana's economy. Speaking at the Citi Breakfast Show, he clarified that the country is at a high risk of having a negative net impact because Ghana does not have the capability to produce the products it imports.

UGBS Faculty Becomes Visiting Professor at Yale School of Management

Yale School of Management (Yale SOM) recently welcomed to its campus the third Global Network African Faculty Fellow – Dr. Albert Ahenkan, a Senior Lecturer with the Department of Public Administration and Health Services Management at the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS). He is currently teaching an elective course at the Yale SOM on Green Economy Management, which examines green economy and sustainable development issues in Africa.
