SPEAKER:     Professor Yinshan Tang; University of Reading, UK

PROFILE OF THE SPEAKER

As the Vice Dean of Henley Business School, he has the responsibility to develop international collaborations for the school. He received his first degree in Biology from Hebei Agricultural University in 1982, PhD in Parasitology and Medical Entomology from Imperial College London in 1994 and MSc in Computer Science from Staffordshire University in 1999. He has worked as a researcher with various universities in the UK and South America and has senior management experience in industry in the UK before finally joining University of Reading in 2004 to establish the Informatics Research Centre. His research interests are in inter-disciplinary areas of cross cultural management and decision making, knowledge management, business and technology infrastructure, information sharing, bioinformatics and sustainable strategies.
